Regarding Retirement_Planning Page of wiki
You deleted a website from external links that I added (futureyears.com), on the pretext that it is promotional content ,has Google ads etc.
If this is the parameter than how superretirementplans.com meets those standards as it is filled with all kinds of ads,the content is very low and the website has very low ranking in google .In fact the website is made purely for advertisements and affiliate marketing.
I don't understand why you kept that link in the external ,is this website immune to wiki policies or you personally have some liking for this website ? Boomer577 (talk) 05:02, 27 June 2009 (UTC)boomer577
- Genuine concern or another case of "someone else gets to spam, why can't I spam too?" Worry not, I have liquidated that link and will watch this page so that no one can spam it again. We depend on learned contributors such as yourself to point out these oversights. TastyPoutine talk (if you dare) 05:06, 27 June 2009 (UTC)
- If somebody who's not working for wiki adds a link in 'External Links 'it is almost everytime considered as spam by the admins ,unless its an .gov ,.edu ,.mil link .But when some low quality link is totally ignored by an admin while deleting other far better websites ,it raises suspision .Moreover, it can't be called anything other than double standards.
Anyhow I am happy that TastyPoutine has removed that link.Boomer577 (talk) 05:57, 27 June 2009 (UTC)boomer557
