is it normal for your lower back to bother you with a tipped uterus??? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.201.194.124 (talkcontribs)

My tilted uterus

edit

So this guy told me that he thought I had a a really shallow pussy. I went to the doctor today and asked if she thought my vagina was unusually shallow. She said no but that I had a uterus that tilted backwards instead of forwards. Apparently this put my cervix at angle so that it's easier for a penis to reach part of it. She also said tilted uteruses (uteri?) are common, so I guess this guy had never encountered one. Anyhow, if anyone tells you you're a freak with a shallow pussy, don't listen. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sepilicious (talkcontribs)

I found this sentence on a website: "Generally, the majority of women suffering from a retroverted uterus experience no symptoms" http://www.womens-health.co.uk/retrover.asp —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sepilicious (talkcontribs)

retrocession of uterus

edit

Retrocession of uterus should be posterior (backward) displacement of uterus, not anterior. Reference : http://medical-dictionary.thefreedictionary.com/Retrocession" Senaiboy 17:59, 26 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Picture

edit

It would be more useful for this article to have a picture of a retroverted uterus than a normal one. Perhaps somebody could find one that's free to use? 206.21.167.48 (talk) 20:19, 25 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Suggestions

Hi Rach1997, not sure if you planned on working with this article any more, but I've gone through and added some maintenance tags to help point out areas that still need work. This article has a lot of problems with uncited content, which is a serious problem for a medical article. This is also a pretty important article (>300 views every day), so any improvements you can make to the verifiability would be very welcome.
