The listed date of death (01/28/1823) is incorrect (his father Return J. Meigs Sr. died on that date). Return J. Meigs Jr. died on 03/29/1825, per https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/21700/return-jonathan-meigs

I attempted to fix the page - perhaps someone can add a citation and research when his term as postmaster general ended. (The next postmaster general's term began on 06/26/1823 per https://about.usps.com/who-we-are/postal-history/list-of-postmasters-general.htm)
