Jeff Carter

edit

The character's name, as spoken onscreen several times in the series, is Jeff Allen, not Jeff Carter. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.122.210.59 (talk) 14:24, 26 January 2011 (UTC) Character's name as Jeff Allen is also confirmed by the novelizations. Not clear why the character's name keeps getting changed to "Jeff Carter" in the article as there are no characters named "Carter" in the series. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.99.150.91 (talk) 16:18, 9 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

DVD Release details

edit

I think there's an error in the DVD release details. The series was most definitely released on DVD in early 2006 as part of the Ultimate POTA collection -- the one that was marketed with a bust of Cornelius. It's clearly labelled on the box as being part of the set. Individual DVD release occurred later in the year, as noted. I am referring to the Canadian release of both; is it possible the US edition of the Ultimate Collection didn't include the animated series? 68.146.47.196 18:34, 25 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Return to the Planet of the Apes Novels

edit

In 1976 three Return of the Planet of the Apes mass market paperback novels were released

Return to the Planet of the Apes #1: Visions from Nowhere Return to the Planet of the Apes #2: Escape from Terror Lagoon Return to the Planet of the Apes #3: Man the Hunted Animal

All three authored by William Arrow. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.2.90.61 (talk) 19:19, 6 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Contradiction

edit

Under story it is said that each episode is self contained, yet it mentions there is a continuity & that each episode shoul be seen in order. Also, some episodes do have parts. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.180.38.31 (talk) 03:03, 25 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

merge of episode list to main article

edit
  • pro merge Sorry, I didn't see this discussion until after I merged the episode list. Before the merge, the article was 12k, With, it's 51k, which is not too large. And the episode summaries are much too detailed. There is more there than for most movie plot summaries, let alone a 25 minute cartoon. They need to be trimmed way back. According to Template:Episode_list the plot summary should be 100-300 words, here they're 500-600 words. As for "notable series have separate lists", many series with one short season do not. It's more convenient for the reader if all information about a series is on one page, as long as it's clearly displayed. Barsoomian (talk) 03:35, 11 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

The Lawgiver/Dr Zaius

edit

Often in the episode descriptions Dr. Zaius is named as the Lawgiver or as the one making statements that the Lawgiver makes. However, Dr. Zaius is not the Lawgiver. As it states in his bio, he is the leader of the scientific community. This is shown in Episode 8: River of Flames. Near the end he states that he has influence in the Senate rather than saying it's because he is the Lawgiver. I believe that the Orang-utan sitting next to General Urko, at the Senate meeting, is Dr. Zaius. Camwad83 (talk) 11:40, 16 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
