- Some initial thoughts:
- I'm not sure the lead meets MOS:LEAD. I would try adding a few sentences to make sure the article's main points are represented. For example, as it is there's no summary of the aftermath section.
@Buidhe: I have expanded the lede.--Catlemur (talk) 02:25, 1 April 2024 (UTC)
- "Doukas was forced to land his troops and fight a protracted campaign" Since no one is "forcing" him to do it, I think this needs to be reworded, to something like: "Because the revolt continued, Doukas landed troops and began what would become a protracted campaign".
- Done
- "Rhapsomates and the Immortals involved in the rising..." this is part of the aftermath, surely?
- Moved to Aftermath.--Catlemur (talk) 00:54, 30 March 2024 (UTC)
- "suggesting that the revolt might have been directed at Alexios' fiscal policies" is this found in other sources? Otherwise it might be correct to attribute the historian making this connection
- As mentioned in the article Cypriot historian Costas Kyrris also supports this theory.--Catlemur (talk) 00:54, 30 March 2024 (UTC)
- "Savvides, Alexis" source is not cited currently
- Moved to Further reading.--Catlemur (talk) 00:54, 30 March 2024 (UTC)
