Species of rhinoceros
editI think this article might be improved if it mentioned the specific species of rhinoceros used as a model. Based on the appearance of the sculpture--particularly the presence of only one horn, the skin folds, and the bumpy rear--this would seem to be an Indian rhinoceros, but I can't find any sources for this (possibly because I don't speak French). Is there any source directly confirming this is an Indian rhino? Lockesdonkey (talk) 16:17, 14 July 2020 (UTC)
- Hi Lockesdonkey, I think you're right but I couldn't find any reliable sources in English or French ("Rhinocéros indien") stating this - Dumelow (talk) 18:08, 14 July 2020 (UTC)
