High Profile Events
editI'm a little concerned about the newly added "High profile events" section. My first concern is that a public official will naturally attend a constant stream of events in the course of his duties, and this list could grow unmanageably long quite quickly. My second concern is that the definition of "high profile" seems rather arbitrary. My third concern is that the inclusion of the premiere of Marooned Awakening may be an attempt by parties involved in the film's production to promote their work. Examination of the edit histories of pages such as Marooned Awakening, Cameron Ashplant, Tilly Keeper, Murray McArthur, Mark Addy and Marc Duret shows a strong pattern of editing by a group of Guernsey-based IP editors. I'm not sure how best to approach this broader situation, but it seems to me that the "High profile events" section of this page doesn't add much value, is likely to cause problems in the longer term, and should probably be removed. - Support removal of the section: I don't believe these events are notable. Dormskirk (talk) 23:55, 12 September 2022 (UTC)
