Possible birthplace discrepancy

This page gives his birthplace as Selattyn (a village and parish by Oswestry) in Shropshire. However the book Shropshire Cricketers 1844-1998 by Tony Percival (published 1999 under Association of Cricket Statisticians and Historians) states it as (and this looks slightly jumbled to one who only knows some of the geography of Oswestry area without living in it) "Lansilin, Derwen, Oswestry". Perhaps they are within Selattyn parish. Can someone look up and clear up?Cloptonson (talk) 19:51, 13 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
