How was Patterson able to dodge the draft and avoid Vietnam? Grad school deferments were abolished in 1967, and I was drafted out of law school in 1968, so it was difficult to be in law school during that era. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.44.233.118 (talk) 21:42, 27 March 2017 (UTC)
