Dates of birth
editJudy Finnigan was born in Manchester on 16 May 1948. Richard Madeley was born in Romford on 13 May 1956.
Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan should also have their own articles
editThis is silly, having Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan redirect to this article. It's fine to have a page about them as a TV duo, but there should also be seperate pages for each of them, as other celebrity duos have;
Ant & Dec, Susannah and Trinny, etc, each have their own article
Even non-entities JK and Joel each have their own page. --172.168.24.253 15:45, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
- If somebody can create pages with enough info on them without repeating alot of this article then they should have their own article. NeilEvans 22:54, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
Public image section
editOh, yes! The public image section here, despite being derided for its unsuitability, contains perhaps the best and most genuinely informative section of Wiki on the site! If any non-Brit wanted to find out who, what and why R&J are, this section would describe it in exactly the right way - this IS the Richard and Judy we've all come to know and love! May I suggest it be left unchanged, and re-named if necessary, with a specific disclaimer explaining that the section is an attempt to describe the feelings of the public towards R+J? It is such a corking read - well written, well-referenced, hugely comedic whilst remaining factual etc etc - it seems a shame that it should be sullied in an attempt to make it less about public feeling - which is, after all, what has kept them at the 'top' of the daytime entertainment ladder for so long! Watching R+J is like watching a train-crash some days: painful and something you want to turn away from, but strangely compulsive and hugely addictive. It's THIS that needs to be expressed! Well done to the author of the piece! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.19.97.121 (talk • contribs) 2006-09-17T02:49:01
Tidying
editI tidied up the part about their biographies... for the titles someone has put Judy Finnigans (I took off the 's') and edited the title 'couple life' (which is very very bad english) and put 'As a couple'. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.32.17.190 (talk • contribs) 2006-09-22T12:18:36
Ali G impersonation
editI've never actually seen it, has anyone got a link to the video? It doesn't seem to be on youtube or google video. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.79.163.163 (talk • contribs) 2006-11-08T01:51:55
The section refering to Richards outburst toward Ricky Gervais is wrong. It was meant to be a joke by Richard, but as with many of his attempts at humour did not work and people thought he was being serious. This came to light shortly afterwards when Ricky Gervais appeared on Richard and Judy and cleard the confusion up. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.96.204.228 (talk • contribs) 2007-04-17T23:58:03
(the above isn't mine, it was unsigned) It says that Richard's Ali G impersonation was 'astonishingly accurate' - can this be anything other than POV? After all, it says that it received widespread ridicule, it hardly seems likely that a critical consensus has formed in its favour in the intervening years. Scatterkeir 22:58, 6 October 2007 (UTC)
English anti-Communists?
editWhat's the basis for R+J being anti-Communists? 86.132.97.199 00:55, 29 June 2007 (UTC)
I think thats vandalism. I'll remove it but feel free to re add if Richard and Judy denounce Communism any time soon.172.216.245.200 15:56, 6 July 2007 (UTC)

Children, Chloe, New pages!
editCome on.. this is just lazy! They deserve pages for each of them..
And there is basically NOTHING about their children, namely Chloe, their daughter who is trying to carve out a career for herself in the media. Dvmedis (talk) 10:24, 2 May 2009 (UTC)

- Why use the address "My fellow wikipedians" when the change has been done by a bot? It seems to suggest wiki editors are nothing more than robots.
