Last Waltz screen cap

edit

I think the screen shot from The Last Waltz should be removed. Free images are now availible and included in the article. Seconds? Objections? - tSR - Nth Man (talk) 01:15, 27 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

info about danko's later years

edit

i think that it is pretty wrong to not include much about his later years except his drug problems... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.37.102.222 (talk) 04:39, 11 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Sources don't belong in External links, and were moved here

edit

Unused sources for the article don't belong in External links. I have transferred them from the link farm there to this talk page, where they do belong. Warning: I didn't check them out to see if they are appropriate so check them out. Please place unused references here from now on. Thank you. --Leahtwosaints (talk) 11:41, 17 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Ambiguity regarding birth date

edit

Recently, someone had changed the information under the photo (in the background information column) from 2nd December 1943 to 2nd December 1942 (that update still stands) and this caught my eye while I was browsing recent changes to look for vandalism. I did a quick google search and the page that I first opened stated the date to be 1942. So I naturally thought that to be correct and made a change to the lead completely skipping over the explanation given in the source code. Luckily, this error was pointed out by Rms125a@hotmail.com. I searched the information up again and there seem to be articles for both 1943 and for 1942. Is there a reliable source that mentions Rick Danko's birth date to be in 1943? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jiten Dhandha (talkcontribs) 15:41, 11 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

It's complicated, per this blog. We should probably explain the uncertainty about the birth date in the article body. My recent edit relies on the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame to have properly vetted the birthdate. – wbm1058 (talk) 21:10, 11 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
