"Voluntarily converted "
editThe article states that, "He was in a relationship with British actor Roger Rees for 33 years, during which Rees voluntarily converted to Elice's Jewish faith." I have a problem with the term "voluntarily converted" and I would like to remove the word "voluntarily" because it sounds clumsy and odd. But, I do not want to do this without hearing the perspective of others. I converted to Judaism as an adult, and I would never phrase it that I voluntarily converted because I believe that conversion implies that it is a voluntary act on the part of the converted. Anyway, I am uncomfortable making this editorial move without input from others. Thank you for any perspective that you can provide. Deaklundlee (talk) 21:48, 10 August 2022 (UTC)
