editThe NYT citation for the subject's approx. birth year is a profile of him, which could be mined for further biographical info. -Jason A. Quest (talk) 14:07, 30 October 2017 (UTC)

editThis seems like an article for WP:BLP1E deletion. Opinions ?
I don't doubt it's loosely interesting, but this is not a person of note other than for the indictment. Manafort was prominent before this, and Papadapoulos had at least a few google hits a month ago, but this person had nothing. The paragraph of this article could be covered by putting it into the Manafort article.
I'm going to wait a bit before suggesting AfD, to see if more shows up or folks voice something below. Cheers Markbassett (talk) 21:34, 3 November 2017 (UTC)
- Huh? He's had quite a few google hits and a NYtimes article on him before the indictment. Galobtter (talk) 04:18, 4 November 2017 (UTC)
- Keep. ---Another Believer (Talk) 04:51, 6 November 2017 (UTC)

- We did. I was aware of Gates from TV interviews long before the indictments. Legacypac (talk) 01:26, 25 February 2018 (UTC)
