As per Talk:Ridicule_(film) there is currently no consensus either for or against this page being a disambiguation page versus a redirect to mockery. Red Slash 17:37, 23 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

Red Slash, I think that most of the support votes were for "ridicule" redirecting to the Mockery article. I don't understand why you opted for a disambiguation page. I didn't see any solid arguments that readers would be looking for the other listings on the disambiguation page besides the film. I don't know whether to start a close review or an RfC. For now, I'll ping the editors who voted "support" so that they can reaffirm or clarify their positions if they hadn't already: Bungle, GrindtXX, In ictu oculi, PC78, Crouch, Swale, Eventhorizon51, *Trekker, Crossroads1, SmokeyJoe, BD2412, Erik, and Narky Blert. Thank you. Yes I will clarify that I support this page being redirect to mockery.★Trekker (talk) 19:47, 23 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
My position has always been that "ridicule" should redirect to mockery per WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. At the top of that we can mention the film; the other things on this page won't be looked for under the word ridicule so no need to mention them. -Crossroads- (talk) 19:49, 23 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
Okay, Red Slash, looking at the discussion again, I see how you felt there was no consensus about whether or not the base name should be a disambiguation page. Flyer22 Reborn (talk) 19:51, 23 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for the ping. IMO: Ridicule should redirect to Mockery as WP:PRIMARYREDIRECT. Narky Blert (talk) 20:00, 23 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
Also concur that ridicule should redirect to mockery. Erik (talk | contrib) (ping me) 20:07, 23 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
I perhaps have a slight preference over Ridicule being the DAB although I have sympathy for associating directly with mockery. The terms are often used interchangeable and for me I could not sway one way or the other sufficiently enough to declare a clear support position. The only thing I felt clear on was that the film shouldn't have occupied the primary article title. Bungle (talkcontribs) 20:33, 23 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

Per the above, BOLDLY implementing this. It's the right outcome. bd2412 T 01:08, 24 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
