There were several amendments discussed and only one of them was aimed at actual resticting the abortion rights. All the other amendments were intended to retain the status quo (so that it would not possible to make the law more liberal without changing the constitution). That's way it is more accurate to write "protecting the prenatal life" than "restricting the abortion rights". The intention was to protect the prenatal life by constitutional regulations and not necessarily change the current law. --BotevFixer02:06, 28 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

The English word "right" is highly polysemic — that is, carries a great number of potential meanings. As a result, this article's current title, "Right of the Republic," is confusing. "Right," in this context, is more likely to be interpreted as "entitlement" than as "right wing," which is the actual meaning of the original Polish "prawica."
The ambiguity of "Right of the Republic" can easily be remedied by modifying it to "Right Wing of the Republic" — which is what the Polish original means. Nihil novi (talk) 04:28, 3 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
