Solti 1964, Gavazzeni 69?

The recordings of Solti 1964, Gavazzeni 69 seem to have been deleted. What was the reason for this? This is, of course, not a 'selected' discography. --Kleinzach 23:46, 31 May 2009 (UTC)

Oh thank you so much for your approbation in this matter ! If you look carefully you will see that the Solti set was never deleted but as it dates from 1963 it was moved to its rightful place, the Gavazzeni set dates from 1960 not 1969 so I replaced it with the 1967 EMI set with the intention of adding it to its rightful place when I had the missing info and I DO KNOW THIS IS NOT A SELECTED DISCOGRAPHY ! --Marleau (talk) 13:42, 9 June 2009 (UTC)

It is my opinion that the references section in this article should be deleted. It has only one "reference", which is a list of recordings compiled by one customer at Amazon.com: I don't think this sort of list qualifies as a reference, but others may disagree --Francesco Malipiero (talk) 17:40, 16 October 2010 (UTC)

Karajan?

What is the reference for the 1983 Karajan recording? AFAIK Karajan never performed or recorded Rigoletto (except selections). I think this entry is fake. --FordPrefect42 (talk) 14:10, 1 November 2014 (UTC)

Monterone

The casts don't need (IMHO)to include Marullo, Borsa, or Ceprano; these are not significant characters. But Monterone is critical to the plot, and is an imposing, memorable character, often sung by very notable singers, including Plinio Clabassi, Fernando Corena, Georg Hann, Ingvar Wixell, Samuel Ramey, Kurt Moll, and even (in his youth) Matti Salminen. User talk:HandsomeMrToad, I dont see any issue if you want to add the role but for consistency, do it for all the performances, not for selected few only. If you can find the singer for all the performances listed on the table (which is hard because the role is less significant), please add it.
