Reorganized sections

edit

I have reorganized the sections according to Wikipedia:Guide to layout ... I'll leave it to you to replace all the bolded Captain Pitts mentions with just his unbolded last name per Wikipedia:Manual of Style (biographies) ... please see some of the other articles linked to List of African American Medal of Honor recipients for examples of how this article should look. —72.75.126.37 (talk · contribs) 17:52, 13 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

When I went to add {{cite web}} tags, I found that one of the URLs had evaporated, so I deleted it ... in each case I used the <title> tag on the web page to fill in the title= fields, and the name of the website for the publisher= field, so blame them if a citation looks ugly. --72.75.126.37 07:52, 14 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Biography

edit

The biography section needs to be reworked or partially gutted. A good portion of it is just a slightly reworded excerpt from the MoH citation below it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kevin W. (talkcontribs) 18:41, 7 September 2007

I know how to edit. I've been a Wikier for a long time. However, I'd like some suggestions as to how to change the page instead of just doing it myself. --Kevin W. 22:36, 7 September 2007 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kevin W. (talkcontribs)
