Date of birth issue

I removed all references to his date of birth being 'May 9th, 1946.' I've heard Riley questioned about his age four times, and his answers have been inconsistent:

-In his abduction story (which he repeats constantly) he claims to be 7-years-old in 1953 during his first alien encounter.

-On a July 1996 appearance on the Howard Stern Show, he claimed to be 50-years-old.

-On a 2009 appearance on the Howard Stern Show, he claimed to be 61-years-old. (The Stern Show crew was surprised at this, thinking he appeared to be older).

-During a recounting of a story about his personal life during a call to the Howard Stern Show, Riley claimed to be 18-years-old in 1954.

I updated his date of birth to 'circa 1936' based on the final claim above. I consider this to be the most credible claim since it's the only one completely unconnected to Riley's wild tales of alien abduction.Scarfo787 (talk) 20:22, 6 November 2011 (UTC)

As you didn't use an edit summary, and his website says '46 and you changed it to 36, I reverted your edit as vandalism. I now see why you are concerned about his birthdate. We can either omit it entirely or if we have sources, state the various dates (or at least some of them). By the way, this belongs at the bottom of this page, I'd copy it but no time. Doubt as to appropriate material

I don't think the word "downloaded" is appropriate in the article. A significant amount of knowledge would have been "uploaded" into his brain, not true? They are opposite processes. Since the aliens or whatever were the ones doing the actual process, then the knowledge was uploaded, not downloaded. Uroshnor 11:08, 23 July 2007 (UTC)

I think Riley was the one who said "downloaded" vice "uploaded". Let me look up the definitions...

Download - (Computer Science) To transfer (data or programs) from a server or host computer to one's own computer or device.

Upload - To transfer (data or programs), usually from a peripheral computer or device to a central, often remote computer.

I think in this case, the "mothership's" computer would be the central processing, host computer, and Riley's brain would be the remote peripheral. I suppose it's a matter of perspective. Ahh, this is getting philosophical. --Bark 21:33, 23 July 2007 (UTC)

Stevie Wonder

Didn't Riley mention that one of the alien races likes the Stevie Wonder album, "Songs in the Key of Life"? He also said in one of his shows that he and the aliens were dancing one time to Stevie Wonder and Bob Marley. Which episode was that?

Considering some of the AfD "fights? I have already been in, I cannot see how this idiocy remains on Wikipedia. It is highly self-referential. It is also link-spam'd out the wazoo. Sal calling Riley

Does anybody know the original air date when Sal called Riley with the "a bugliada da, yagi mu a mugi woogayo" thing? I personally would like to know, and I think that since there is paragraph on that incident that it might be good to include. Chris01720 17:48, 27 June 2007 (UTC)

Removed laundryrack cleanup tag

There were no sprawling lists that I could see anywhere on the page, so I removed it. My guess is that someone edited it to fix the issue of those lists but forgot to remove the tag. Article looks great, keep up the good work everyone. Chris01720

Problem with seventh show synopses

I believe Seventh Episode (July 18, 2006) synopses may be incorrect. I was that "gay caller" and I definitely did not call in July. I believe it was early March in 2007 that I called in, but definitely not July of 2006. It may be possible that someone else called in long before myself, but the rundown of that show is very familiar. I know that the episode I called in on was the last episode before his contract was due to expire. If someone could shed light on this it would be great. Chris01720 18:10, 27 June 2007 (UTC)
