800,000 years ago
edit"800,000 years ago"??? That's a very long time ago as far as human populations go. In fact, Human ancestors hadn't even left Africa by then. Citation absolutely needed for such a claim.(or deletion) --Trefalcon (talk) 22:25, 7 February 2009 (UTC)
Bridge
editAccording to the photograph, it was built in 21 BC, while actually it was 21 AD —Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.12.160.228 (talk) 14:20, 20 December 2009 (UTC)
Damage during World War II
editIt is said that Rimini had 1,470,000 rounds fired against it. Surely its notable buildings and infrastructure must have suffered significant damage. The article should provide some information about this. 71.6.87.50 (talk) 07:29, 31 July 2013 (UTC)
Beaches??
edit'It is one of the most famous seaside resorts in Europe, thanks to its 15 metres (49 feet) long sandy beach, ...' Surely this is an error. Even a small beach is longer than this. 206.47.94.52 (talk) 22:45, 2 September 2013 (UTC)
- You're right. I went back in history and when someone did a presentation update, they accidentally put meters instead of km. I have updated it to reflect the correct measurement. Keithh (talk) 15:36, 3 September 2013 (UTC)
More than 1,000 hotels
editThe article cites that Rimini has more than one thousand hotels, information that was added in December 2010 by an editor with little participation, and with no sources. That number of hotels was then later repeated in the body and a source was added by a 95% WP:SPA, who, with one exception, has been absent for over a year. Would anyone be able to consult the source and verify? Thanks. Rui ''Gabriel'' Correia (talk) 07:00, 16 June 2017 (UTC)
Ancient history
editQuotation: "The area was inhabited by Etruscans until the arrival of the Celts, who held it from the 6th century BC until their defeat by the Umbri in 283 BC." That's not true at all. The Celts, the Senones more precisely, arrived around 390 BC. And they were defeated in the battle of Sentinum in 296 BC. Not by the Umbri, these were in fact among their allies. But by the Romans and their allies the Picentes. For reference check the Italian version of the article and the Italian article on the battle of Sentinum. 31.24.11.129 (talk) 21:33, 4 September 2022 (UTC)
