Contested deletion
editThis page should not be speedily deleted because... I just started this article and was adding the stub label. I think the person requesting deletion needs to explain more, especially regarding G11. --Beakermeep (talk) 07:31, 10 February 2014 (UTC)
Some updates/more thoughts: I have added some sources and researched the appropriate section per the deletion request
Regarding G11: There are no ads in this app, no revenue, and it is open source. This clearly isn't advertising. There is no cause being advocated. Links to Google play and the Googlecode project page are meant to source numbers or specific claims in the article.
Regarding A7: The importance of this app is that it provided many devs with a springboard for their work. I am looking for references to that now. It also is one of the first, oldest, and most popular open source apps for Android (it has been around since the G1). That alone is pretty significant. It had an impact at making Android a viable platform. I'll admit the significance doesn't come across well in the article -- help here would be appreciated.
Disclosure: I have no connection to this app personally or professionally other than knowing of it, and being impressed by it. As far as I can tell this app isnt even under development anymore. Beakermeep (talk) 09:12, 10 February 2014 (UTC)
Writing style: I would be glad to have help making it more neutral or less promotional sounding. Beakermeep (talk) 09:12, 10 February 2014 (UTC)
