This part "The rift sawn rip cuts are perpendicular to the center of the log" makes little sense. The centre of a log is a line and when we make a cut perpendicular to that line we just cut the log into shorter pieces or cut the tree down. From what I understood from the article a rip cuts runs along the log and hence is parallel to the centre of the log. Jakubzurawski (talk) 12:47, 1 January 2015 (UTC)
