No, I don't. On the contrary, MOS:DABRED is relevant, as it instructs not to include red links to articles that are unlikely to be created. The fact that it has already been deleted is an excellent indicator, hence WP:WTAF applies nicely here. Joefromrandb (talk) 20:24, 16 January 2018 (UTC)

Even if you think that DABRED doesn't apply, you at least have to acknowledge MOS:DABMENTION. I'm also not sure how you think that this entry is different from any of the song entries where we only link to album/artist. To me, those are exactly the same as having a novel entry which links to the author's article, which mentions the novel. -- Fyrael (talk) 07:41, 17 January 2018 (UTC)

I would also draw the opposite conclusion from there having been a deleted article for the novel. Even though notability was not established at this time, the mere fact that someone attempted to create an article suggests to me that it has a greater chance to one day exist than 90% of the other DAB entries that slide in under DABMENTION. -- Fyrael (talk) 14:26, 17 January 2018 (UTC)
