This article should be merged with Loxley, South Yorkshire as it is currently only a two and a half line stub.

That it is a stub does not mean it should be merged—it means that it should be expanded. —JeremyA 14:35, 11 November 2006 (UTC)Reply
Yes but I doubt it can be expanded any more than it currently has been. -andrewpking 16:01, 11 November 2006
The Sheffield Project has many scopes over which its interests leads it to edit. The article will get edited in the future. Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons 17:26, 11 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Loxley/Rivelin

edit

I've reversed the reference to the Loxley flowing into the Rivelin because Ordnance Survey maps name the course of the combined rivers below their confluence as "River Loxley" (see OS pathfinder map SK 28/38)--Mabzilla (talk) 14:45, 6 February 2008 (UTC).Reply

Tributaries and Reservoirs

edit

"The upper river is marked by the presence of four large reservoirs, used for the impounding of drinking water", so the article says, but one dam, Dam Fask is a compensation reservoir rather than one used for drinking water, and the other dams are on the Dale Dike, Strines Dike and Aden Dike, not the Loxley. Does this part of the article need changing?2A00:23C4:D891:1100:1D77:E6E3:F739:BFF4 (talk) 04:15, 2 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
