The description of names misses a section of waterway between Kyo Burn and Causey Burn known as Houghwell Burn, shown on various maps with no exact start/end. Kyo Burn seems to become Houghwell Burn just upstream from Houghwell House, Tanfield School and the B6173. There seems to be a smaller watercourse joining Kyo Burn at that point. See https://www.wwf.org.uk/uk-rivers-map or https://nrfa.ceh.ac.uk/data/search for this detail. Houghwell Burn seems to become Causey Burn at or downstream from Tanfield Lane. See https://magic.defra.gov.uk/MagicMap.aspx for some evidence. e-tat (talk) 06:20, 8 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
