This is obviously a play on Rhodes Scholar. Has anyone said this in a reliable source so that we can include this in the article? 2600:1004:B126:F:C556:BDA3:6376:4F6A (talk) 23:08, 19 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

I also just realised this today as I had them on a guided tour and was expecting the Rhodes Scholars and was quite appalled at this obvious name theft! This is such an obvious obfuscation of the actual Rhodes Scholars, surely these people have had some sort of legal action!--Tallard (talk) 05:40, 2 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Ha! I had exactly the same experience, felt the same way, and came to this article wondering if there was any history around that appropriation (evidently there isn't, which surprises me). What I am encountering on that front is minimal at best, but at the very least this statement is very unclear:

(from History) "...they were sued for infringing on the name." What name? The previous part of that sentence is, "...the company was called Exploritas before changing its name to Road Scholar...", so it's unclear which name is being referred to here. A Google search clears it up - that statement refers to Exploritas. But that discussion board isn't a reliable source, so... should I/we make the change? (I'm not an experienced W editor) Assumedly it might become: "...they were sued by a travel company called Explorica for infringing on their name." --Whit (talk) 16:45, 20 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
