The sign galleries should be moved on a commons page, as Wikipedia is not a gallery, nor an indiscriminate collection of information (see Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not). --JTE Dimandix (talk) 13:11, 14 January 2022 (UTC)

Stop sign
editThe 'STOP' sign shown in this article is not used anywhere in Russia (or any Russian speaking territory). All Russian signs use Cyrillic letters. There is no letter 'S' in the Cyrillic alphabet. Further the 'P' is pronounced as an 'R'. The correct word that appears on a Russian stop sign is 'СТОП' (actually the same word just transliterated into the Russian alphabet).
The same also applies to the 'WC' sign. The nearest Cyrillic letter to 'W' ('Ш') is pronounced 'sh', abd the 'C' is pronounced 's'. The Russian for WC is in fact 'Уборная' (pronounced 'oobrnaya') which is what is actually on all the signs last the time I was in Russia. 109.152.150.186 (talk) 11:26, 5 June 2022 (UTC)
A separate article for road signs in Belarus is needed
editIt is necessary to write a separate article about road signs in Belarus, as there are unique road signs in Belarus that are not used in Russia. WWBM (talk) 09:02, 13 June 2022 (UTC)
