Difficult case. The people he's confused with are significant, and I could write about them, but this fellow just wrote books. It's also pretty confusing in the text: he persecuted non-conformists (Puritans), and he's a Puritan? 17th c. language of schism is pretty torturous, and these non-conformists might be Anabaptists, etc. In other words, I'm not sure it can be cleaned more, but the subject passes the significance test.
