As the secretary to The Old Elizabethan's Association we are researching Robert Dodsley who's father was a master at this school, information we seek is his coat of arms, (if he had one). Can you provide any information?.

Given that scholarship in history or literature used Chicago style or MLA respectively, I propose that one or the other be used in this article and articles like it. My own interest in Dodsley is historical, not literary, and the article already uses a pastiche of the Chicago "footnote - bibliography" style, so that's what seems like the most sensible to use. I am hoping to liberate this article from its almost total dependence on the outdated and inaccurate 11th edition Britannica article from which it was copied. Part of that process will create links to three times as many wikipedia articles as it has right now.Alasdairdubh (talk) 14:52, 29 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
