editI corrected the 100 percent incorrect dates for Donaldson's tenure at the various institutions at which he's worked. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Donalddragon (talk • contribs) 01:58, 15 September 2012 (UTC)
Reversion by CrimsonProf64
editI made a number of changes to the article, which CrimsonProf64 reverted without explanation. The tone of the article was unencyclopedic, and I removed a lot of the puffery from the article (particularly as there are no sources for the hyperbole). I also removed an external link and put it inline. I changed the birth date to be American-style as this is an article about an American. Finally, I added the spouse to the infobox. Despite the many different changes I made, each of which has a different rationale, Crimson saw fit to simply remove them all. I intend to revert the reversion and post a message on Crimson's Talk page to come here and discuss the matters.
I'd also like to know if Crimson is in fact the subject of the article or if he knows the subject as the boxes on his user page indicate he is a university professor, studied at Harvard, has a BA, MA, and Ph.D, and is fluent in Russian, all of which pretty much match Donaldson.
If Crimson reverts or refuses to discuss these issues here, I will take the issues initially to BLPN for assistance.--Bbb23 (talk) 01:20, 29 December 2010 (UTC)
I don't mean what puffery you mean. At any rate I have added more information, with quotations and citations, to clarify aspects of the article. CrimsonProf64 (talk) 14:53, 11 August 2011 (UTC)
At some point someone edited this article to make Donaldson's year of birth and graduation dates 20 years later than they actually are. Additionally, it was written that Donaldson is an expert on economic policy, that left the University of Tulsa in order to teach high school, that he grew up in Sudbury, Massachusetts and attended Lincoln-Sudbury High School, and that he has "prized labradors." None of these is true as far as I know.
