"Retired"
editIn the section, Last Years, the article states that Archbishop Lucey retired on July 4, 1969. Other sources state that he resigned (and that Francis James Furey was appointed to succeed him) on May 23, 1969. A possible explanation is that Lucey submitted his resignation on May 23, but it was made official on July 4. Additional research is necessary. Vereverde (talk) 18:29, 7 March 2011 (UTC)
