Copyright issues
editNormally I remove copyrighted material outright, but in this case, the material is a significant part of Louisville's history, and some effort was made to change some words, so I'm willing to be more patient in this case. Nevertheless, this material is essentially a cut-and-paste and therefore needs to be rewritten in the author's own words (whoever decides to rewrite it). Stevie is the man! Birth date
editThe only reference I could find to Fox's birthdate is the one from the database of notable Kentucky African Americans. Couldn't find a birthdate in any of the references they cite, so if anyone has better info or refs please add. In some articles about him, he is referred to as 'elderly' when he took his seat on the segregated car. He would not have been elderly if he had been born in 1846. However, one early article describes him as 'orderly', so this could have been copied wrong in the subsequent articles, changed to 'elderly'. ABF99 (talk) 15:18, 30 July 2016 (UTC)
