Was he really a serial killer? It seems to me that he committed a spree killing (or mass murder) in a first episode (the wife and two kids). And, in a second episode, he killed again (the Grand Canyon). Thus, two separate events. I thought a serial killer involved "three or more separate events"? Not sure. Joseph A.
