The following Wikipedia contributor may be personally or professionally connected to the subject of this article. Relevant policies and guidelines may include conflict of interest, autobiography, and neutral point of view.
Thank you so much for approving my first article - I am so pleased to be able to meet the proper standards of Wikipedia!
However, I also want to do whatever is necessary to fix the article so that the 'neutrality is disputed' banner is removed. I have previously stated that I have never met Mr. Brunelle in person - I follow him on social media and we have had several exchanges. Because he saw that I have written a book, he asked if I could help him get a Wikipedia page. I did not and will not accept any compensation for doing so. In spite of this, I was told by editors that I needed to post a conflict of interest banner. In actuality I do not see that I am a 'connected contributor' in actuality nor in my understanding of the meaning of 'conflict of interest'.
I believe that I have produced an unbiased portrait by reporting the facts of his life and work using secondary sources.
Please advise of any specific suggestions for edits or corrections that I can do that will result in removal of the neutrality in dispute banner. Thanks!
