- Hi Nick, thanks for using this procedure.
- I've made most, I think, of those changes. I think "academic and former Labour Party politician" is the correct framing - her notability is mostly related to her political career.
- I don't quite agree with the suggestion of cutting out the chronological specifics of her parliamentary career to the extent that you suggest, but I've rearranged a bit and cut out some bits that seemed extraneous, polemic or unsourced. (Sourcing isn't great throughout, but can be improved.) If there are specific remaining inaccuracies, could you point them out? TSP (talk) 16:06, 18 December 2019 (UTC)
PROPOSED CHANGE:
INFORMATION TO BE DELETED FROM PARLIAMENTARY CAREER: In 2021 it was reported that Blackman-Woods had bullied two of her staff and that the Labour Party had first heard allegations about her behaviour in 2018.
INFORMATION TO BE ADDED TO PARLIAMENTARY CAREER: In 2021 it was reported that Blackman-Woods had been subject to an investigation by the Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards. The Commissioner applied no sanctions to Blackman-Woods, who stated there was "strong medical reasons' for the issues that were raised.
EXPLANATION OF ISSUE: Misleading entry as does not refer to the investigation. Also, misleading use of allegation about her behaviour in 2018. Implication that no action was taken when the investigation in fact took a year.
- NickRippin, I agree and have implemented the changes. HickoryOughtShirt?4 (talk) 19:18, 16 April 2021 (UTC)
