Help me

edit

Hello everyone, i'd like ask you how to improve this page.

I have tried to take as example different pages of wiki but probably I don't work well!

Point 1) A major contributor to this article appears to have a close connection with its subject. I'm a journalist. Yes, To write it's my work but I don't have conflict of interest. How can I prove it?

Point 2) This article contains content that is written like an advertisement I tried to write the whole article by gathering information from libraries and articles and I mentioned everything. Maybe they are too much information?

Point 3)The topic of this article may not meet Wikipedia's general notability guideline I find this difficult to understand. The musician is published by Warner (Warner / chappell), is drawn in the German national library, has released four albums. maybe the problem is closer to point 2 and is related to too much information?

Of course I'm just a newbie here but I would really like to understand how to improve my encyclopedic writing. Until thank you so much for your kindness.

I await your suggestions!

Ciao Luca, da Modena? I will have a look at the article and the sources. I do not know why an editor added {{COI}} and {{advert}}, I have removed both. A piu tardi. (Going for dinner in a little while, so could take an hour or two.) Sam Sailor 18:12, 6 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
(edit conflict) I too have no idea what User:Chrissymad had in mind when he/she added those tags. Sadly, it's not uncommon to see such "tag bombing" these days. Don't let it discourage you. 78.28.45.127 (talk) 18:22, 6 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
Luca can you please remove the external links from the Discography section. We do not allow that. Look at what I did to the first line * ''Memoriam VII'' on Nuova contemporanea, i.e. record title in italics, label name not in italics. Va bene? Grazie! Sam Sailor 18:18, 6 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
Well, first of all, classical composers are in general really hard to source. In this case, there is furthermore the challenge with the many false positives because a synonymous architect exists. This can be solved by adding modifiers to search strings, but it does take time. If you, Luca, can find more sources, do post them here. Bare URLs are fine. We are primarily interested in high-quality sources such as newspaper articles, magazine articles, and any mentions in books. Let me hear from you. Sam Sailor 18:35, 6 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
Dear @Sam Sailor: Thank you for your answer. Now I go to eat and to sleep. First, I will look for other material in news and books. Stay in touch, see you in these days! Thank you everyone. In the meantime I leave you these fast links: From La Stampa (national newspaper) http://www.lastampa.it/2018/04/12/edizioni/aosta/per-longhi-il-jeudi-diventa-un-ritorno-7BzRNK5VHJA9OnswRKATvO/premium.html#acquistaregistraaccedi - article 12/04/2018

I find it in the official site of composer https://www.robertobrambilla.it/articoli/ In this page there is a picture of whole article "in paper" From OgniSette (national newspaper) http://www.ognisette.it/news/livorno-suoni-inauditi-2012-2013-2013/ I find it in the official site of composer https://www.robertobrambilla.it/articoli/ there is a picture of web article. A biografy in database Musicalics https://musicalics.com/it/compositore/Roberto-Brambilla From a piece commissioned from European Parlament and performed in European Parlament http://www.bam-music.org/2018/02/20/no-black-no-fashion-by-roberto-brambilla-symbol-of-anti-racism/ About a music festival http://www.bam-music.org/2017/10/17/what-picture-could-say-sunday-the-amazing-concert-with-roberto-brambilla/ About an album http://www.bam-music.org/2018/03/07/no-black-no-fashion-great-appreciation-from-online-users/ From ufficial facebook page of university of Tampa and around: https://www.facebook.com/USFComposition/posts/1643924909001688 https://www.facebook.com/StringsHammers/ This is my stop, for now. This issue of notability is not simply. I looked for comparisons in Wikipedia by composers and musician, born around 1975, and I have not found in these parameters too much difference from those mentioned in the article. Also taking a cue from the people close to this musician it is not always true that there are sources that are not directly connected to articles or quotes from books. In other articles is even more difficult, in other is more more simply. I don't understand this difference. I have read Wikipedia:Notability but even here, there is a degree of uncertainty and freedom for the authors. I'm not sure I understood correctly! But this point is hard to solve for me. Or better. I must take time to search and I don't know how much time I have available. I ask you: is it already possible to remove the notability template with the information I given yesterday? Other small info. I have not looked for the links yet but here, always in the official page of musician there are two broadcasting, RAI (italian radiotelevision) and CJSR (Canadian radio): https://www.robertobrambilla.it/radio/ .This type of contents should be best because is a source that is not directly connected. Two national radio certainly offer a certain type of notability...Lucamodena (talk) 23:22, 7 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

Dear @Sam Sailor:Slowly, I continue my research. I started adding secondary sources and a French dictionary that mentions the musician. The secondary source are an article from La Stampa (National Newspaper) about Federico Longhi (baritone) in which the composer and his work is mentioned. I add one book (small book, about 50 pages) in which the composer is mentioned for one his work. I add also one new long interview from a newspaper online. Comparing the wiki articles close to the composer, I added other sources like those articles (the source for composer are always the same). Do you think it may be enough for the notability issue? Thank you so much!151.20.151.33 (talk) 16:15, 8 June 2018 (UTC) Ops, I don't was logged in Lucamodena (talk) 16:16, 8 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

COI issue

edit

Hello there, I don't understand. Why was another "COI" requested? We had solved the question. All the best, Lucamodena (talk) 17:23, 17 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

Believe it or not, some people genuinely have no better things to do. Imagine being one of them. Template removed. 78.28.45.127 (talk) 14:33, 19 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
