Other reactions
editIf I am not mistaken there are some reactions that are not in the article like Michelle Bachelet and the European union reactions.--MaoGo (talk) 11:51, 22 March 2019 (UTC)
- yes, there is lots ... I had a busy day and ran out of steam. I was hoping others could help :). SandyGeorgia (Talk) 13:39, 22 March 2019 (UTC)
- I just added Bachelet. I saw France and EU responses on French newspapers, if I do not find a better source I guess I will go with the French sources.--MaoGo (talk) 13:57, 22 March 2019 (UTC)
Questions (conflicting sources)
edit@Jamez42, MaoGo, and Cambalachero:
- Did Marrero win election in 2015 ? SandyGeorgia (Talk) 14:28, 22 March 2019 (UTC)
- Exact names of judges: different spelling from different sources. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 14:28, 22 March 2019 (UTC)
- Do we know which Santa Maria University he founded the chair at ? SandyGeorgia (Talk) 14:28, 22 March 2019 (UTC)
- Some sources say 40 SEBIN officials; one says 15. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 14:28, 22 March 2019 (UTC)
- A source says his lawyer, Garcia, said he is at El Helicoide; is that certain? SandyGeorgia (Talk) 14:28, 22 March 2019 (UTC)
- Garcia says for sure. Clarin. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 15:19, 22 March 2019 (UTC)
SandyGeorgia (Talk) 14:28, 22 March 2019 (UTC)
- For the time being I can't review the sources in detail, but here are my thought from what I know and what I have read:
- I understand that Sergio Vergara is currently the deputy, since his parliamentary immunity was violated. The article of the IV legislature of the National Assembly lists Marrero has secretary of the Assembly between 2016 and 2017, but I can't remember if this was a position which is up to election.
- Most likely it is the Santa María University in Caracas, but it should be checked.
- At the moment we could say "at least 15" SEBIN officials. If there's a video of the arrest, like with Ledezma and Requesens, it could help. --Jamez42 (talk) 15:27, 22 March 2019 (UTC)
- We can simply say "Many SEBIN officials", the exact number does not change much. Cambalachero (talk) 18:02, 22 March 2019 (UTC)
- The problem is that Vergara himself said 40. On the 2015 elections, MUD petitioned CNE to let him run for National Assembly for Monagas in place of Vecchio. Did he? Did he win or lose? SandyGeorgia (Talk) 18:42, 22 March 2019 (UTC)
- We can simply say "Many SEBIN officials", the exact number does not change much. Cambalachero (talk) 18:02, 22 March 2019 (UTC)
This is getting ridiculous. AN says Borgas here, but Borjas here. Some sources say his bodyguard was also taken; others do not.[1] Some call him a driver, some a bodyguard.[2] SandyGeorgia (Talk) 23:02, 22 March 2019 (UTC)
Videos
editI've uploaded two videos to commons from CC Youtube videos: Maduro and Reverol talking about the arrest. Not sure if you want to add them to this page. Kingsif (talk) 17:59, 22 March 2019 (UTC)
- They could be useful for es.wiki; how does copyright work on those? I'm not sure uploading a Spanish newscast for English wikipedia makes sense; I added the Marrero audio because we provide text in the article. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 18:38, 22 March 2019 (UTC)
