Core of the article

I started this article using an edit of User:Shd (Revision as of 10:26, 4 April 2007) as the core of this article: "Mathematically, the Robin Hood index for Lorenz curve $L(x)$ is $\max(x-L(x))$." --DL5MDA (talk) 08:29, 1 November 2008 (UTC)

Merge

I "merged" this page into the Hoover index page. I use merge in quotes because the information and wording was the same, but shorter on this page. The two indices appear to be the same, however even if the indices are not identical, the pages are. There is no point to an article that is redundant and inferior.
