I'm pretty sure that most of these images (other than his player bio pic) are all copyrighted but I'm not positive, can anyone clarify this for me?

Any picture used of him, unless it is a work of the US federal government, is copyrighted. --AEMoreira042281 16:16, 14 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Robison Cano's background (nationality) is African American —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.96.226.156 (talk) 02:51, 16 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

No. He wasn't born in America. --Muboshgu (talk) 03:12, 16 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Robinson Canó is not African American nor is he African. He is from the Dominican Republic. Also we should definitely change the profile picture of Canó. Maybe it should be one of him at the Homerun Derby? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.83.158.163 (talk) 23:19, 12 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

2012 HR Derby Fiasco

edit

The controversy surrounding Cano's actions as captain of the AL team as well as his performance at the event and fan reactions absolutely need to be included. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.229.37.27 (talk) 22:40, 10 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Why? What makes this event important enough to include? It happened, and it's over. Wikipedia is not a newspaper. – Muboshgu (talk) 01:20, 20 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Pronunciation of Surname

edit

As an aficionado hispanoparlante, I thought this player's last name was being mispronounced when I first heard it. Its "usual" pronunciation is CA no, not ca NO. However, I just checked his page en español at https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robinson_Canó, and saw that they do indeed list him as Canó there. So I think the pronounciation should be listed that way on his English language page. ¿Qué piensan USTEDES? What do YOU think? DutchmanInDisguise (talk) 04:08, 5 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

Ordering Cano's list of Accomplishments

edit

In the second main body paragraph, Cano's 2017 All-Star Game MVP award is listed second in his list of career accomplishments, but I feel that this award should not be stated as the second item in his list of achievements. This occurred mere hours ago, and was likely added by recency-based motivations, rather than an impartial analysis of his achievements, as befits the encyclopedic style. The ASG MVP is a less notable accomplishment than some listed after it, namely his five Silver Sluggers and two Gold Gloves. It seems logical to mention a player's most notable achievements first, and so his 2017 All-Star Game MVP award should be listed after the other aforementioned achievements.
