BLOCK RICL
editUser:Udeblili has added the following misinformation to Rock Island Clean Line:
- Rock Island Clean Line is facing opposition in Illinois from a group called BLOCK RICL. Their claims are that the power line is not necessary. RICL has asserted energy costs will have to rise by 50% to make this profitable. Other obstacles to this power line are that the Chicago area has a surplus of electricity, that the power line will deter further growth on wind energy in Illinois, and that governors of east coast states are not interested in Iowa wind energy. These governors would rather develop local wind energy off the Atlantic Coast.
No references were provided to support these assertions. No attempt was made to discuss on talk page. Brian Everlasting (talk) 13:53, 9 August 2014 (UTC)
