Citations
editThe main source for this article is "Rock Township History, Benson County, 1904-1976." published by the Benson Co. Board of Supervisors, 1975. I'm trying to locate a copy to provide better inline citations, but have added the generic cite to the article. I am also working to clean up the article text itself. If anyone knows where to locate a copy of this book, we could use your help.DCmacnut<> 20:40, 19 October 2008 (UTC)
I own a copy of the book, so any questions posed I could probably answer. TRBUFF (talk) 02:11, 22 October 2008 (UTC)
- Take a look at my changes and let me know if they work. I took out the comment about whist and other pastimes. Seemed to generic and could be applied to any rural area in North Dakota. My grandfather was a Whist champion in Morton County. If you have time, go through and add inline citations to those statements that may need additional verification. Route 4 and the homesteading history immediately come to mind. I'm interested in seeing that expanded on, because historically Indian tribes didn't voluntarily allow white settlers to homestead on tribal land. It usually was a one-sided event, so I'm interested in how this compromise was developed.DCmacnut<> 02:54, 22 October 2008 (UTC)
