guitarists

edit

I removed him from Category:American country guitarists. According to the liner notes of Diamonds & Dirt he only plays rhythm. Almost every country singer plays rhythm, so I feel that it's overcategorization to place rhythm guitarists in that category. Review suggestion

edit

As an editor at Crawdaddy!, and to comply with COI guidelines, I am not posting the link to this review of Rodney Crowell's Sex & Gasoline. However, I would like to recommend it on its merits, and hope that an editor will find the time to examine the review and—if he or she sees fit—post it to the professional reviews section once a Sex & Gasoline page is created. I appreciate your time. Crawdaddy! (favorable) [1]

Citation for Johnny Cash's reaction to "I Walk the Line (Revisited)"

edit

Re: "Initially, Cash was annoyed at Crowell changing the tune to his song, but he came to like the finished product."

In a 2001 interview on NPR, Rodney Crowell mentioned his ex-father-in-law's first reaction to the rewritten melody of "I Walk the Line." The relevant part is around the 5-minute mark. Of course, this doesn't fully validate the above statement. Maybe just a quote from this or another interview would be better. (Does anyone know of an interview in which Johnny Cash talked about this?) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.33.95.142 (talk) 14:32, 18 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
