Dugdale made a mistake when he made Mary de Clifford married to Sir Philip Wentworth as a daughter of Roger de Clifford. See also the Wiki article on Roger's grandson John de Clifford at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Clifford,_7th_Baron_de_Clifford. There is verification for this in Notes & Queries for Literary Men, Artists, Antiquaries, Genealogists, Etc. Volume Eight, pg. 251-252 (can be downloaded from Google Books). Mary de Clifford is entered correctly in the Wiki article on John de Clifford. She should be deleted from this article on Roger. She was NOT Roger's daughter. She was John de Clifford's daughter.
