Court Martials
editI'm not sure if it's important enough to be included, it's more of an interesting footnote. Curtis served as a judge on all four courts martial resulting from the Mutiny on the Bounty. On October 22, 1790, Bligh for the loss of the Bounty; on the same date, carpenter William Purcell on charges brought by Bligh; on September 10, 1792, Edward Edwards for the loss of the Pandora; and finally, beginning on September 12, 1792, the ten mutineers brought back to England by Edwards.
