Additional and removal of content

edit

It appears that a large amount of biographical information was added to the article [2] and then removed, with no reason given for the removal [3]. What's going on? Hyacinth (talk) 22:34, 14 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Sorry about that Hyacinth, I added it and then decided I needed to keep working on it. I see that you've re-instated it. That is ok - I'll do my edits piece by piece now. Thanks for the concern!

Music Composition Titles: "Quotes" vs. Italics

edit

I'm not sure what is considered normal on wikipedia, but in MLA and Chicago/Turabian formats titles of music compositions are italicized, not quoted. What is the consensus here? Phembree (talk) 22:12, 25 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Italics are normal for compositions, per Wikipedia:Manual of Style (music)#Classical music titles and Wikipedia:WikiProject Classical music/Style guidelines#Articles about compositions. Only songs are enclosed in "quotes". (Use double apostrophe's to get italics, not <em> tags) -- Quiddity (talk) 00:16, 26 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Difficulty with Images

edit

I'm sending permission from Karen and Roger Reynolds to the Commons:OTRS people to get that image undeleted. It might take a while before it returns... Phembree (talk) 02:44, 2 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

The OTRS people took care of the issue. Picture is back. Phembree (talk) 17:18, 15 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
