Roland Lee Gift
editHis name is Roland Lee Gif, but I can't change the headline. He was born on May 28 1961, I wrote a mail and asked him for his birthday, and he told me! Thanks —Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.68.34.150 (talk) 10:06, 2 January 2008 (UTC)

Hmm. I went to the same school as Roland and I'm fairly sure we were in the same class, but I'm five years older it seems - also I met him in the Wellie Club in Hull must have been around 1977 he recognized me from school so we must have been contemporary - he had a mohican - I'm pretty certain he wasn't 15 :-) Anyway, all good to him I like his music it's just this age bit always seemed strange to me Nod.Glodnig @ gmail.com —Preceding unsigned comment added by 188.62.89.253 (talk) 19:42, 20 November 2010 (UTC)
Just looked up the school page on FB and he was around in '78 - three years after I left - so we must have been in the smoking gang together at school - him a third-year me a sixth former —Preceding unsigned comment added by 188.62.89.253 (talk) 21:07, 29 November 2010 (UTC)
- I think you're right about the age. Unless I'm very mistaken, Roland was a driving force in Hull's Anti-Nazi League in 1977-8. I went to the Rock Against Racism Northern Carnival and I'm fairly sure he was an organiser of the local contingent. I think he deserves credit for this work and I hope someone can corroborate. Ethnicity?
editWhat ethnicity is he? 168.103.91.201 (talk) 18:28, 22 October 2008 (UTC)
- The man is black. He looks black because he is black. I am lighter than him, and I am black. But he can be what he wants to be. He won't be the first "Cablashian." Tiger Woods has that crown. Mrisaac57 (talk) 17:50, 21 January 2024 (UTC)
I think he's what's technically known as ambiguous. Megawattbulbman (talk) 23:48, 26 January 2009 (UTC)
