Although that would compare favorably to systems like LocalTalk, that is not remotely "comparable" to really anything else that also used coax or glass fiber in 1987, which typically ran at 2.5Mbit (ARCNet over coax) to the 10Mbit range (ethernet over coax or fiber).
That's about as 'comparable' as a Trabant would be to a Camry.

It is no longer possible to assemble a functioning Rolanet system today, due to lack of software and working hardware Sounds like a challenge being thrown down there ! 89.243.5.51 (talk) 14:33, 15 October 2011 (UTC)
