editThis page should not be speedily deleted because the issue of the singing of this song has now become topical. Recent legislation in 2012 has had the effect of criminalising football fans who sing this song, though that has not always been how things have turned out with some cases ending with acquital and some conviction. This article should also be seen in the context of other banned songs sung at football matches for whick wikipedia articles exist - difficult to see why this song should not have an article explaining it when other songs do. editPerhaps a merger with the article on the Irish Republican Army would be more appropriate, as this song might not merit having it's own article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Schuy B. (talk • contribs) 01:58, 24 December 2013 (UTC)
- Possibly. If the article isn't strong enough to stand on two feet. Dlohcierekim 09:56, 24 December 2013 (UTC)
