There's a serious problem here with the demographics. There's no way in hell there's 89% asian people in Rolla. I live here, and it's closer to 89% white. Somebody goofed on the statistics.

Shouldn't the old Phelps County Courthouse and Phelps County Jail be labeled as such? They're not the ones currently in use. We're a bit more modern than that here in good ol' Rolla nowadays. Ninjozi (talk) 11:18, 2 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

What would need to be done to add the acceleration due to gravity to the page? Considering a figure has been precisely calculated by the physics department at MST it would be an interesting point to make as well as unique given that the figure does exist. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.229.79.141 (talk) 05:13, 22 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Notable people - Dillon brothers - references don't establish connection to Rolla

edit

Neither of the Hockey Hall of Fame references for Wayne or Gary Dillon establish how they are associated with Rolla. I don't find either of them on the List of Missouri University of Science and Technology alumni at all. Does anyone have a better reference? Or is this an error? --papageno (talk) 03:18, 11 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

I can’t find anything either, and since nobody hasn spoke up I’ve removed them. Grey Wanderer (talk) 05:11, 6 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Fun places

I hear the old Phelps County Jail was a favorite hang out for "The Man in the Iron Mask". Cozy.Ealtram (talk) 12:53, 4 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Barad factory

edit

No mention of this place not the grocery store that was across the street. Was a piece of history in rolla. I actually spread material for the factory to make lingerie and ship somewhere. Just curious? Maybe it was called something else? I’m sure the factory and grocery store is tore down by now. 71.223.78.179 (talk) 15:11, 30 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
