Suspension System
editA long time ago, I read that this car had the best suspension system available at that time: the Citroen Hydropneumatic one coming from the sleek DS and CX lines which would outperform any other sedans in the Alps. This helped this car to have road holding performance that was far better that the former Rolls. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 193.61.253.12 (talk) 15:15, 18 September 2007 (UTC)
- can't recall this having citroen suspension - and it definately was never ever rated for its driving abilities- citroen suspension or not - tali —Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.98.44.180 (talk) 01:01, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
- I think the first poster is right, as the Carmargue was based on the Silver Shadow's platform, which did have Citroen's hydropneumatic suspension (later on only at at the rear). Jason404 (talk) 12:58, 23 June 2010 (UTC)
Not designed by Sergio Pininfarina
editThe Carmargue was actually designed by Paolo Martin when he worked for Pininfarina This is stated in an article from The Independent and on Paolo Martin's website. Dieselnutjob (talk) 00:12, 30 March 2008 (UTC)
