Making this make sense
editHi, As a complete newcomer to the world of British (now German, I guess) autos this page is completely incomprehensible. I would rewrite it myself but would probably introduce factual errors in the process. Any help from experts would be very much appreciated.Rkaufman13 (talk) 19:11, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
Problems with description of Volkswagen ownership
editAlthough the body of the article correctly describes the ownership history of Rolls-Royce Motors, the lead and info box are inconsistent and inaccurate.
- Rolls-Royce Motors was not sold to BMW - only certain rights were sold to BMW
- Rolls-Royce Motors was not succeeded by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Ltd - it became Bentley Motors Ltd
Providing no one objects I will clear this up. AlexCGW (talk) 17:20, 4 April 2014 (UTC)
No Citations?
editNo source material for any of this? Nothing to further research?
Under the sub-heading 'Rolls-Royce cars timeline', there is no information
editUnder the sub-heading 'Rolls-Royce cars timeline', there is no information. In my opinion, it is pointless having a sub-heading if there is no information to go under it. Xboxsponge15 (talk) 16:38, 30 June 2022 (UTC)
Dubious info in the first paragraph
editThe opening paragraph contains the text:
Certain professional football players, such as two time premiership player, and Collingwood Magpies great, Scott Pendlebury, are often referred to as 'the Rolls Royce of the AFL Competition'.
Seems added inappropriately and at the very least it's in the wrong section if the page... 86.19.36.63 (talk) 22:51, 19 January 2024 (UTC)
